The Position:

We are seeking to hire 2 entry-level or skilled landscape and tree care technicians who are passionate about working on high-quality projects. A skilled technician has at least 2 years of experience (preferred) and can demonstrate their ability to read designs, install and repair irrigation, correctly prune and plant trees, operate and maintain common landscape and tree care equipment (skid steer, power equipment, excavator, truck/trailer), install hardscapes, use laser levels, and effectively communicate with clients and co-workers. While the base pay is $18 an hour for entry-level laborers, we are eager to offer more to candidates who can demonstrate a high level of knowledge and skills in the industry. We are also open to training the right candidate who shows a passion for the industry but has limited experience or knowledge.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience or an enthusiasm and passion for the industry

  • 70% of time will be spent installing landscapes with 30% of time pruning and removing trees.

  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.

  • Ability to work in a variety of outdoor elements such as hot, cold, and rainy weather

  • Ability to drive daily

  • Ability to physically and safely perform all aspects of the job.

  • Valid CA driver’s license with a clean DMV record

  • DOJ fingerprint clearance

  • Pass a drug screening

  • Be able to demonstrate your knowledge and skills if seeking higher compensation
